This guide is written by the Career Firewall team, with HR professionals. So the guide looks at your job from both sides of the desk: yours, and the side that decides who leads a change.

The first edition came out in 2025 as 'AI-Proof Your Job'. It has had more than 2,500 readers. This October 2026 edition is rewritten with three rules. Every statistic has a dated source, listed in the guide and on this page. There are no invented people: when we use a scenario, it is labelled 'illustrative'. And the promise is concrete: do the 90 days, 15-20 minutes an evening, and you will run AI on your own tasks. You will have a CV and a LinkedIn profile without age clues. And you decide when work gets to see any of it.

We use AI tools to draft, to check and to translate. We check every statistic by hand, and we update the guide four times until October 2027. If you find a mistake, write to us: we fix it in the next release.
